Brewster, NY
In the fall of 2014, our home at Lasker Rink canceled the entire season just as it was beginning due to a broken cooling coil. Although this turned out to be some political brinksmanship and the rink ultimately was fixed and we were able to return, in the interim we, along with all other Lasker clubs, had to find temporary ice. The good people up at Brewster Ice Arena helped us out and gave us some ice time. This was the first time we skated with all 3 of our new colors together, and we got some great shots together. We also had some new players for the first time, which is always great to see. We hope to skate more often up in Brewster.
