This video was shown at the fifth bi-annual Breakaway! event on March 12th, 2024 at Wollman Rink in Central Park , in support of the Wheelchair Sports Federation New York Sled Rangers.
This video was made by our very good friend Joe Quint. This is an outstanding piece of work that really shows what we are doing, and what it means to the kids and their families to be able to play sled hockey. In addition, Joe is a very talented photographer; you can check out his website here. And as if that werent enough, Joe is also the author of the very excellent website It Takes Us, which aims to tell the stories, and raise awareness, of the tragedies of gun violence in this country. We can't thank Joe enough for his commitment and contributions to our program by creating this video. But I'll try. Thanks Joe! |
